Wire-Fibre Composite meshes are blended meshes made of monofilament wires and fibre bundles in the widest range of materials that are capable of being interwoven. The individual products from this wire-fibre composite mesh vary, depending on the application profile, significantly in their design.
High dirt-holding capacities by keeping uniform pore structure
All Wire-Fibre Composite Mesh are designed according to the Composite Principle which produces a very good filtration result in the retention rate area of 3 µm to 100 µm. As a result, the mesh achieves dirt-holding capacities like a heavy-duty fiber felt, but is absolutely uniform in its pore structure. A filtration process is, therefore, calculable and more manageable.
High stability, excellent backwashing capability and cleanability
Optimized flow properties are combined with an exceptional stability which withstands the compressive and tensile forces of all known filtration processes long term. The technical structure of the weave makes very good backwashing capability and external cleaning possible.
Excellent forming capabilities for customized finishing
Notwithstanding stability of the fibre-wire composite, it can be formed and correspondingly tailored. As a result, not only classic cylindrical, conical or vertical pressure leaf filters, for instance, can be produced, but pleated filters as well. In addition to this, sintering is possible too.
